The Infant Massage Information Service will be holding free demonstration sessions on infant massage for parents throughout Australia in 2026.
The sessions will cover a massage demonstration as well as discussions on appropriate oils to use for massage time, when and how long to massage for, and the benefits of massage for infants.
Baby massage can decrease crying and improve sleep. International research has also shown that massage strengthens the immune system in addition to providing a wide range of additional physical and psychological benefits.
Infants are invited to attend the session with their parent/s and expected parents are also welcome to join in.
Limited spaces are available, and parents must reserve a position to attend.
