What started in a home kitchen has grown into one of Ipswich Central’s most loved sweet spots.

Baked by Joseph & Ann began with just a dozen macarons a day. Today, thousands are crafted each week – alongside a colourful lineup of tarts, loaded cookies, cakes and indulgent treats that keep locals and visitors coming back for more.

Founder Ben’s journey from the mining industry to competing on The Great Australian Bake Off sparked a passion that now defines Baked’s approach: creative, detail-driven and always flavour-first.

Set in Ipswich’s historic Top of Town precinct, Baked has built a reputation for doing the classics exceptionally well while adding its own playful twist. Macarons remain the hero, but you’ll also find inventive creations like croissant rusks and rocky road – cleverly transforming leftover ingredients into something completely new (and seriously delicious).

Whether you’re chasing a sweet fix, picking up something to share, or simply following the scent of fresh baking, Baked is a must-stop for anyone exploring Ipswich Central.
