Bar Planet isn’t just a martini bar on Enmore Road, it’s a whole universe of its own. Run by the award-winning crew behind Bar Bridge, Bar Herbs, Centro 86, Cantina OK!, and Tio’s, Bar Planet takes the world’s most iconic cocktail and makes it feel right at home in Newtown.
Take a seat at David Humphries’ kaleidoscopic terrazzo bar top and try the signature Bar Planet Martini, made with the world’s first martini master stock, alongside a rotating monthly martini special and the ever-changing Scorpino special — a playful reinterpretation of the Italian Sgroppino.
If martinis aren’t your thing, there’s plenty of wine, beer, and spirits on the menu. Drinks are accompanied by a freshly popped bag of curry-flavoured popcorn, or you can order from Saray, the Turkish eatery next door.
