Liebichwein – Wine Tasting Experiences

Liebichwein cellar door welcomes wine lovers of all types. For a small family-run winery, the wine styles on offer are expansive covering sparkling, white, red and fortified. The specialty is fortified wine available as premium aged blends and also bulk by the litre in a range of grape varieties (Muscat, Semillon, Frontignac, Grenache).

Besides wines you will find soft drink we like to call “port for kids”, local food and produce. Bring your friends and family, relax and enjoy true Barossa hospitality. The cellar door is a family-friendly and dog-friendly area.

Choose from a range of tasting experiences with a focus on museum red wines and fortified wine blends. Savour rare fortified wines aged 10-30 years in oak barrels carefully managed through five generations of family winemaking.

Learn about flavour development from barrel ageing and different grape varieties. Red wine lovers can choose from old vine Shiraz aged over 10 years old amongst other single-vineyard wines and red blends. Choose your wines and sit amongst the barrels or outside under the carob trees admiring the vineyard views.

Liebichwein Cellar Door is open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Note Sunday hours are 12-4pm. Other times are welcome by prior appointment.
