The walking track leads through sub-alpine woodlands and snow gums to the lookout, where you can gaze at the Gloucester River and across the gorges to The Mountaineer peak in the southeast.
Further along the track is a viewing platform that overlooks the Gloucester Falls. This is where the river plunges over the plateau to the valley below, the twin drops are breathtaking after rain.
