Celebrate over 200 years of Australian rare trades and crafts at the Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail.

Bathurst will celebrate the trades and traditions that have helped shape the region at the Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail. Rare trades and crafts will be showcased at Australia’s oldest inland European settlement. Blacksmithing, saddlery, dry stone walling, whip making, glass artistry, lace making, tapestry, embroidery, joinery and violin making are among many unique talents to be demonstrated by local and guest artisans.

The event will allow you to visit sites not always open to the public with two of Bathurst’s most historic venues used to host the artisans practising their rare trades.
