The Berrima District Historical Society Museum is housed in a historic weatherboard cottage. The museum’s collection includes an array of artefacts from the Southern Highlands.

See the remains of the German-built canoe and the work of internees of Berrima Gaol, when it was used to house prisoners of war from 1914 to 1918.

Recognised as one of the best small country museums, the exhibitions aim to give visitors a tantalising glimpse of early life in the Southern Highlands.

Be surprised, be amazed, and be inspired when you visit this outstanding country museum.
