Bherwerre Beach is a five-mile-long sand beach perfect for spreading out or taking a long walk. It is one of the quieter beaches in the Shoalhaven, so it is a great place to go to escape the crowds.
The steep dunes and headland make for great sunrise and sunset viewing. It runs from Booderee National Park in the north to Sussex Inlet in the south, and is separated from St Georges Basin by transgressive sand dunes.
It is a great spot for swimming and surfing, especially at the north end, which is sheltered from the Summer North East winds.
