If you are passionate about food and the planet, join a dedicated group of farmers and locals each month at the Boroondara Farmers Market. The market is one of the largest and longest running genuine farmers markets operating in Melbourne and supporting Victorian farmers and producers.
Accredited with the Victorian Farmers Market Association (VFMA), the market sells only the best produce available. You can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, seasonal organic produce, meat, herbs, honey, eggs, bread, olives, cakes, dips and sauces, even wine and beer.
Talk directly to the farmers and producers and learn about the ingredients and processes that brought the food to you. It is all part of shopping in a community, reducing food miles and supporting small Victorian primary producers. Bring the kids and your four-footed friends – you are all welcome.
The Boroondara Farmers Market is an initiative of the City of Boroondara in partnership with the Rotary Club of Glenferrie. All money raised assists with community projects run by Rotary of Glenferrie and Foundation Boroondara.
The market is held on the third and fifth Saturday of each month. There’s no fifth Saturday market in December.
