Be amazed by the incredible murals in the breathtaking Free Serbian Orthodox Church St George. Biblical scenes and historic murals cover the walls and line the ceiling of this replica ancient Serbian village church.

The church murals are the work of the late Karl George Matzek. He started the project aged 73. It was completed just before his death, at the age of 89. All paintings were completed without the use of scaffolding – a step ladder sufficed.

The church was recently listed as a heritage building. The architecture is breathtaking, and the history behind the paintings is truly incredible.
