Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation is calling on South Australians to be part of one of the state’s most powerful mental health events, with tickets now on sale for the Men’s Meals and Mental Health Dinner at Adelaide Oval on Thursday, 18 June 2026, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Returning for its third year, the event aims to raise $150,000 to
support vital research and programs focused on men’s mental health.
After selling out in just six days last year, the dinner has become a
cornerstone event, bringing men together in a safe, supportive
environment to connect, share experiences and challenge stigma. With 43% of men experiencing mental illness in their lifetime and one in four
unlikely to seek help, the need for open conversation has never been greater.
This year’s theme “Overcoming Adversity” features keynote speakers Ben Hyde and Gill Hicks, sharing powerful stories of resilience and recovery. Hosted by Jess Adamson and Andrew Hayes (“Hayesy”), the evening promises an engaging atmosphere.
Guests will enjoy a premium dining experience alongside meaningful
conversations and fundraising activities.
With nine Australians lost to suicide every day—seven of them men—the urgency is clear.
