Bribie Beach Shack is a boutique enterprise offering on and around water activities and services from the sandy beach of the historical Pumicestone Passage near Bribie Island. The fleet includes self-hire and drive:
Crabbing, fishing and cruising boats (no boat license required)
Fishing and cruising boats (boat license required) – 15hp, 30hp and 50hp boats. – Barbeque pontoon boats (no boat license required)
Dedicated fishing kayaks, recreational single and double kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.
The shop itself hosts a wide variety of fishing equipment including rods, reels, tackle and bait as well as some basic chandlery items.

Bribie Beach Shack
Bribie Beach Shack is licensed to operate a fleet of up to 37 self-hire & drive vessels including fishing boats, crabbing boats, BBQ boats, cruising boats, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The recreational vessel hire operation includes dedicated smaller “crabbing” boats “fishing” boats and cruising boats which are all available to hire without a boat licence. The higher-powered fishing and cruising vessels require a marine boat licence and have an up to 50 kilometre ‘round trip’ range to operate in. Bribie Beach Shack’s operation is dedicated to making your hire:
• as easy as possible – its friendly staff provide a full hire area and boat operations brief, launch, retrieve and clean the boat for you; and
• as safe as possible – all boats are maintained to a strict proactive maintenance regime, come with a full complement of safety equipment including dedicated children’s lifejackets and pass through daily pre- and post-hire conditions checks.
Fishing rods are available for hire, and the shop hosts well-stocked bait freezers and an end-to-end wall of tackle and other fishing equipment.
Bribie Beach Shack offers fishing kayaks, recreational single and double kayaks for hire.
