Norton Road Wines is a family-owned vineyard specialising in growing and making small-batch cool climate wines that reflect the terroir of their region.
Norton Road Wines estate is a 4 acre block situated at the headland of the Yass creek in Wamboin at 800 metres. They specialise in Pinot Noir and Riesling and are expanding the vineyard with new plantings of French varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Pinot Meunièr, and Chardonnay. They also manage fruit from the 4 acre Summerhill Road block in Bywong which has plantings of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Riesling and sits at 860 metres – true ‘cool climate’ wine.
Biggie’s Barbecue is the vineyard restaurant offering low and slow American barbecue inspired food and is open each Saturday and Sunday for food and wine tastings.
The restaurant and function rooms can be booked for private functions any day of the week. The menu offers drink pairings and weekly food and beverage specials, an outdoor bar and alfresco dining.
