Bungendore is at the centre of the Southern Harvest Region, a region rich in diversified farming, gourmet foods, cold climate wines, bespoke brewing and distilling, and high-quality fibre production.

The Southern Harvest Farmers Markets, held every Saturday in Bungendore, is a truly authentic regional farmers’ market, with all produce grown or made by the stallholders. A great opportunity to meet the growers and gain some insights into the fresh produce on offer.

You’ll find stalls selling fruit, vegetables, herbs, spices, meat, poultry and fresh seafood from the coast. There’s also local preserves and jams, cheese, eggs, garlic, honey, wine and oil.
