Megalo Print Studio is Australia’s largest open access print studio and gallery. Established in 1980, Megalo has been dedicated to supporting and amplifying creative voices through print for over forty years. Initially a cooperative focused on employment and social engagement, it has since evolved into a hub for both creative excellence and community access, and is the only print studio in Australia that offers all traditional print mediums under one roof – screenprint, lithography, relief, and intaglio.
Megalo operates from heritage premises in Kingston, Australia, providing year-round studio access and a diverse array of programs including workshops, exhibitions, and a print store which offers a wide range of limited edition, original prints created by leading local and national artists.
Visitors can enjoy a visit to Megalo’s gallery space, with new exhibitions every six-weeks showcasing a range of diverse and exciting contemporary artists working in the field of print. They can also book into a creative workshop and learn how to produce their own unique, handmade artworks in a variety of fascinating print techniques.
