Canyonleigh Retreat is nestled in the sleepy village of Canyonleigh in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
The Retreat offers a combination of spacious and luxurious accommodations ( individual suites) with a fireplace and balcony as well as one bedroom apartments with one accessible apartment. All of the rooms overlook beautiful gardens and a 500-acre native forest for wildlife and nature exploration. and sustainability in mind.
Guests can enjoy freshly picked and cooked meals and spectacular campfires under the stars. Guest Seasonal Menu is available at Audrey’s Cafe onsite including room service. Guests can explore the 6.5km forest trails for hiking and forest bath, trail riding, canoeing, group horse patting, book a farm tour or a picnic basket in the forest.
The Southern Highlands Astronomy Club meets everymonth at Canyonleigh Retreat. Guests and the public are welcome.
The onsite cafe-Audrey’s Cafe, is open 7 days for everyone and open for dinner for guests. In particular the Woodfire Pizza Nights every friday for guests and the public.
The intimate conference room facility allows for up to 40 guests at a time with full catering using organic meals in consultation with local Chef @Flavours by Dee.
It is 10 minutes from Hume Highway, approximately 25 minutes from Mossvale and one hour from Sydney and Canberra.

General access
- Accessibility information and photos, including of a bathroom, room and/or floor plan on their website (can be emailed on request).
- Asks all visitors if there are any specific needs to be met.
- Advise tour guides of the access needs of guests at the time of booking (includes pick up and drop off requirements)
Communication
Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
- Staff are trained in communicating with people with learning or behavioural challenges.

- A quiet space is available at the venue/ facility.
Physical – Mobility
Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)

Physical – Wheelchair
Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
- Step free outdoor pathways (includes picnic areas, barbecues and shelters)
- A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
- Step free access to restaurant, lounge and bar
- An accessible public toilet which is unlocked.
- A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
- Wheelchair accessible picnic tables (picnic tables require 720mm knee clearance and 800mm maximum height).
- At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).
- A choice of wheelchair accessible accommodation rooms (Guest may wish to know if you have a choice of wheelchair accessible rooms, such as single room / studio apartment / apartment / cottage / quality / views, etc. Wheelchairs require a 1600mm x 2200mm width area to turn around and require step free access.).
- Step free access to room (Entrance to the room wheelchair accessible with step free greater than 5mm or has a doorway threshold ramp not exceeding 1:8 for 450mm length).

Have a slip resistant fold down seat or fixed seat in shower .Seat must be at least 900mm long.).
