Castledare Miniature Railway is a 100 percent volunteer-run organisation located on the banks of the Canning River.
Castledare Miniature Railway has steam and diesel-hauled trains for young and old, with tracks that run through the wetlands. This is an experience of a bygone era operated in true railway tradition and safety. Picnic facilities and the cafe at Wilson Park are available.
The trains run on the first and third Sunday of every month and the first Wednesday of the school holidays.
Birdlife, water sports and hiking are popular throughout the region.
