Stay a night or more to be enchanted by our charming old rail carriage with original arched wooden ceilings.
The original wooden railway carriage has been converted into a quaint bed and breakfast offering queen bed with electric blanket.
Quality linen and towels supplied. The fully tiled ensuite has a shower (no bath).
Kitchenette facilities including microwave, mini oven, hot plate, toaster & kettle. Cutlery, crockery and cookware supplied.
BBQ & outdoor setting available.
Guests privacy is respected, however if you wish to join your hosts for a drink & nibbles on the front verandah at sundown looking over the Spencer Gulf, you would be very welcome.

Catninga Mountain Camp Hut
For the hiker or adventurer, we have a mountain hut located near the summit of Mt Brown, right on the Heysen Trail.
Ideal for walkers/hikers, mountain bikers, or just those who want to escape, this rustic little hut opens up a different perspective on life. Hike the day away then sit around the outside fire ring and enjoy the tranquility. Retire to your bed inside the hut, alongside a cosy old wood stove. The attached bathroom offers a bush shower and a flush toilet, just to add a little bit of convenience to your mountain experience.
Heysen Trail hikers, have you thought of having a day of relaxation then continue your hike the following day? We can organize your provisions to be dropped at the Hut! (costs apply)
Access to the Hut is by foot from Heysen Trail, or from Catninga Homestead.
Brian can drive you by 4WD (costs apply), by negotiation with Brian or Heather (weather permitting).
