Held within the heritage-listed Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, this refined afternoon combines a fashion show, historical storytelling and a traditional high tea in the beautifully restored Cellos Grand Dining Room.
Presented in partnership with The Cavalcade of History and Fashion, the event showcases authentic 1930s evening gowns and accessories, brought to life through engaging commentary and the stories of the women who wore them.
Defined by graceful simplicity, 1930s fashion celebrated the natural silhouette – gowns cut on the bias to softly follow the body, creating a slender, elongated line with gently flared skirts and softly waved hair. The result was effortless sophistication and timeless femininity.
Guests will enjoy a traditional high tea including a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, along with unlimited tea, while experiencing this unique blend of fashion, history and heritage.
