Chifley Dam is located a three-hour drive west of Sydney, over the Blue Mountains. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful weekend retreat or an exciting, fun-filled holiday for the whole family.
The dam is Bathurst’s water supply and recreation area – power boating, water skiing and sailing are permitted. The dam offers good fishing, cabin accommodation, barbecue and picnic facilities.
There is a free primitive camping area with a maximum of four camp sites, the maximum stay is three nights.
