Crossfield Cottage was built in the late 1920s in the country town of Barmera, which is located on the foreshore of Lake Bonney and is one of the many towns along the Murray River.
It is set in a picturesque country landscape, nestled amongst surrounding vineyards, fruit orchards, garlic fields and natural bush with landscaped gardens. A self–contained cottage with everything you need for a romantic bed and breakfast, a getaway for a family holiday, or a retreat to relax and enjoy it’s world character and charm.
Keeping with its charm it has a cozy wood fire, high ceilings, polished floorboards and a slipper claw foot bath making it a unique experience for all their guests in this lovely old home with the benefit of modern facilities as well.
An outdoor entertaining area for those warm balmy evenings to relax and unwind. They have an outdoor claw foot bath for those nights to enjoy a “bath under the stars” Glass of Riverland wine, bubbles and the stars above.
The cottage is situated 1.6 kilometers from the Lake which is great for an assortment of water sports and other activities.
The Cottage sleeps 6, but they can supply a Port-a-cot or a single fold out bed if required.
