The Crown Hotel Motel is situated in the heart of Grafton on the banks of the mighty Clarence River, within walking distance of the shopping centre.
The motel is a separate building overlooking the river. Their 18 units have ample parking, and easy river and boat ramp access in a quiet, peaceful location. The historic hotel building houses 27 hotel rooms, bars, entertaining, lounge and dining areas.
The beer garden overlooks the gardens of Memorial Park and has sweeping river views. It has plenty of seating and there is always a cool breeze during the warmer months.
The Crown Restaurant/Bistro overlooks Susan Island nature reserve and the beautiful Clarence River. Choose between dining on the terrace or indoors.
The terrace is a great vantage point to observe events on the Clarence River and also to see the spectacular mass departure of the flying fox colony from Susan Island Rainforest each summer evening.

Hotel En Suite Room
The Hotel itself has 25 pub-style rooms on the first floor of the building. Some rooms have their own ensuite, while the remainder are the basic rooms that utilise the common facilities (bathrooms). These are priced accordingly. The Pub Style rooms do not have tea/coffee facilities, however, there is a common room kitchenette with a microwave and electric kettle.
Guests need to provide their own cups, utensils, tea/coffee, etc for their own use. All linen and bath towels are provided in the Hotel.
Standard Hotel
The hotel itself has 27 rooms on the first floor. Some rooms have their own en suite and television, while the remainder are basic rooms that utilise the common facilities. These are priced accordingly. All linen is supplied. There are no cooking facilities available.
Motel Double
The Crown has 18 air-conditioned motel-style units of which 14 are ground floor and 10 of those overlook the river. These are in a separate building from the hotel itself with ample off-street parking.
Room features include queen-size beds, reverse cycle air-conditioning, en suite, televisions, telephone, clock radio, tea and coffee making and refrigerator. A hair dryer is available on request.
