Dionysus Winery is a family-owned boutique wine offering award-winning wines, friendly service and a great experience. Dionysus Winery is one of the smallest wineries and vineyards in the Canberra district, and the wines are estate-grown and made. Dionysus Winery is home to Woo Chocolates. Their chocolatier, Wendy, is passionate about exploring texture, colour and flavour. Her husband, Michael, is a winemaker with a similar passion, making small-batch, handcrafted wines. With both businesses side by side, it’s the perfect place to indulge in a delicious treat and sip some of the finest wines.
Dionysus Winery has wine and food experiences to suit every need. From a wine-tasting experience through to matching wine and cheese or chocolate tasting. There is a self-select picnic fridge with a range of gorgeous Australian and International cheeses. As well as the cellar door, alfresco area and winery; visitors can enjoy a picnic or cheese and wine in the beautiful sculpture garden.
Very dog friendly! Whilst not allowed inside the cellar door, there is plenty of comfy seating under the pergola or in the sculpture garden.
