Dog Trap Vineyard is a small boutique winery near Yass, New South Wales. Their reason for being is to create dry red table wines of outstanding quality and value for money from the excellent Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on their beautiful mature vineyard.
In pursuit of this aim, Dr Dennis Hart and Ms Julie White undertake all of the vineyard and winemaking work, excepting harvest, themselves. This gives them total control over the quality of the grapes and wines produced.
