The restaurant was called ‘Marios’ when it opened in the 1960s. Mario D’Orazio and his family made it a local institution for over 50 years, the local community celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and weddings here.
It was closed for some years until new owners Rob & Ollie discovered the restaurant was for sale, they fell in love with its story and relaunched the business as ‘Don Mario’s in 2020
