Drive Car Hire is the only car rental operator to service Tasmania’s West Coast, making SUVs available for rental in Strahan by special arrangement.
This service is currently operating on request only, with vehicles serviced out of the Hobart office on demand. Delivery fees and minimum rental days apply.
Drive Car Hire has depots in Hobart city, at Hobart Airport, and at Launceston Airport.
One-way rentals between Strahan and Hobart/Launceston may also be available, subject to availability and minimum rental periods.
Due to the limited availability of cars, advance bookings are necessary.
