Their entire fleet of luxurious and unique boats have electric motors which mean they’re eco-friendly and whisper-quiet. It’s such a safe and enjoyable way to take in all the sights of the Gold Coast!

Every member of the family can take a turn behind the wheel as you cruise the waterways. Hop aboard for your own family cruise or gather a group of friends for a celebratory trip up the Gold Coast Broadwater.

Duffy Down Under Boat Hire

Pop on your Captain’s Hat and pack the picnic provisions! They provide the rest. Duffy Down Under boats are fully equipped with a shaded canopy top, window enclosures, two sunroofs, a table with lounge-style seating, Bluetooth Stereo System, Safety Equipment, Navigational maps and operating instructions.

Prices start from $165 per hour, per boat not per person. Considering you can have up to 10 people on board, that works out at less than $17 per person. Some models hold up to 12 guests. No other guest except those whom you invite will be onboard.

You are more than welcome to bring your own food and beverages onboard or they can cater it for you.

If you’d rather relax and be a passenger for the day, they also have experienced skippers with local knowledge to show you the best parts of the Gold Coast.

Rentals daily from 7 am-7 pm (must be back before last light without a skipper)

  • Exit signs which are visible at a ground level (high level signs are difficult to see in a fire) are available.

Hearing

  • Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.

  • Staff are trained in communicating with people who are deaf or have hearing loss.

Physical – Mobility

  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)

  • Uses floors/coverings which are slip resistant, firm and smooth
  • Grab rails in the bathroom
  • Seating in common areas including reception area

Physical – Wheelchair

  • Caters for people who use a wheelchair.

  • A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
  • An accessible public toilet which is unlocked.
  • A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
  • Wheelchair access to amusements and activities including boats and bush trails (includes tour rides, skyways, trolley cars, flying fox, amusement rides and boating).
  • A wheelchair/scooter charging station (power point) in an accessible location is available.
  • At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).

Physical – High support needs

  • Caters for people with high support needs who travel with a support person.

  • A place to store medical equipment (eg oxygen).
