Dungog Shire’s own radio station, 2DCR Radio Dungog FM 107.9 covers local news, events, culture, entertainment and emergency updates, keeping the Shire abreast of what’s happening! Radio Dungog has an award-winning Saturday morning sports show.
Recently Radio Dungog moved to new premises in the Dungog Showground. Now broadcasting from two new studios and a new transmitter they broadcast to the whole of the Shire and beyond.
Dungog Radio made its first radio transmission on 20 April 2011. Since then, they have been on air bringing the Dungog Shire community programs that are diverse, informative and relevant. To this end, they encourage engagement with all sectors of the local community to participate in shaping our program content.
The station is staffed 100 per cent by volunteers and the music is great. While you’re visiting the area please tune into 107.9FM or stream them from the website!
