Did you know that echidnas hibernate during the colder months? This means that this experience is seasonal. They expect their echidna experience to be available again in either September or October 2024.
The Echidna Encounter provides an opportunity for guests to meet one of Australia’s native icons, the echidna. Those participating in this encounter enter the enclosure with the wildlife keeper, and assist with this unique opportunity of feeding these animals while learning all about their adaptations and behaviours, and the importance of echidnas in the environment.
