The view is always better from the water. You’ll spend the day in a handmade McKenzie River Drift Boat, targeting trout in pristine locations. You’ll learn how to spot fish, manage your line, and fly selection for various fly fishing techniques.
Drift boat tours are available on selected northern Tasmanian rivers–maximum of two anglers.
Highland Lake Tours
They’re spoilt for choice in Tassie! The central highlands feature over 3,000 lakes, lagoons and tarns that hold wild brown trout. You’ll learn how to stalk fish, the importance of fly presentation and understand various rod lengths and their uses. A day in the highlands is good for the soul!

Wilderness River Tours
