Enjoy tributes to the heritage of Maryborough with the Ellena Street Pavement Artwork.

Primary School students designed the pavers for the Ellena Street Pavement Art and Sculpture, with the theme being “I can find it in Maryborough”.

Maryborough-born artist Susie Hansen designed the large sculpture in the street as a tribute to Maryborough industry. The sculpture is a fly wheel cut in half which was originally fitted to a single cylinder kynoch suction gas engine in the powerhouse of Walkers Ltd.
