Itinerary highlights

Bald Hill Lookout

Bald Hill lookout offers expansive views south towards Wollongong and is internationally known as a major hang-gliding point.

Overlooking the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge which extends along the Grand Pacific Drive a 140-kilometre award-winning coastal drive beginning 45 minutes south of Sydney in the Royal National Park.

Sea Cliff Bridge

The 665 metre long Sea Cliff Bridge is a highlight along the Grand Pacific Drive. A drive which takes in 140 kilometres worth of coastal scenery from the Royal National Park, Loftus down to Nowra.

The bridge has become an icon to the people of Wollongong and the world, once again welcoming tourists annually to this picturesque coastal road.

Opened in December 2005, the Sea Cliff Bridge offers visitors the chance to get out and stretch their legs. It is also a great viewing platform for migrating whales heading north/south during migrating season.

Kiama Blowhole

Kiama’s famous Blowhole is the largest in the world, and when the swell is running from the southeast, you’re in for a real treat. The 2.5 metres opening in the rock face has had its plumes of water recorded at heights of over 30 metres!

With multiple accessible viewing platforms, the blowhole can be seen from multiple vantage points, be sure to check out the most eastern point to take in the full height of the rock formation.

Saddleback Mountain

Kiama’s glorious Saddleback Mountain offers a photographer’s dream, with the elevated Saddleback Mountain Lookout.

On a clear day, take in the breathtaking views from Cronulla in the north to Milton in the south. While the north-facing viewing platform (off main car park) is excellent, be sure to checkout the recently opened southern platform further up from the main car park.

Located just 10 minutes from Kiama’s Blowhole, Saddleback Mountain Lookout is one of the area’s greatest natural attractions, overlooking the lush dairy farmlands and Minnamurra River

Jamberoo

A quaint, small country town, nestled in the lush dairy farmlands near Kiama. European history in the valley began in the early 19th century when the cedar-cutters moved through the rainforests gathering this valuable timber. Pioneer settlers followed in the early 1820
