The relocated and restored Fairymead House overlooks the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens with the splendour of a bygone era.

Built in 1890, this grand plantation house includes the Sugar History Museum, exploring the development of the local sugar industry from its earliest days. View the magnificent Indian bungalow architecture and discover the history of the Bundaberg sugar industry and the pioneer sugar families through self guided exploration of the heritage listed Fairymead House.

Fairymead House is available for hire as a wedding/function/conference venue. If you are looking for a venue with a difference Fairymead House is the ideal location for you. The majestic plantation house offers an exclusive function venue for a maximum of 60 guests. Set amongst the lush tropical surrounds of the Botanic Gardens.
