Cobar welcomes you to join in the celebration and commemoration of Cobar’s miners and proud mining history. The Festival of the Miner’s Ghost offers a range of programmed activities. The Friday evening will kick off with a Night To Remember Our Lost Miners at the Cobar Mining Heritage Park with service, Guard of Honour, wreath laying, guest speakers, music, BBQ and coffee van.

Stay for the evening to watch the fireworks create amazing reflections in the Open Cut pool and rock faces surrounding – a spectacular and uniquely Cobar fireworks experience.

On Saturday, the family will enjoy coming together in Drummond Park for the Miners Ghost Markets, kids amusements, food vendors and live music.

On Sunday, you wont be out of place wearing a safety vest! Come and get amongst the miners at the Mining and Trade Expo. The Expo will bring the local mines and mining businesses together in the Cobar Mining Heritage Park with mining and trade stalls, mining demonstrations, music, kids amusements and of course food for the hungry workers!
