Flat Rock Picnic Area is a beloved spot for swimming, fishing, camping, and picnics. Set along the scenic Fish River and 26km drive from Bathurst’s city center, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a day out or camp overnight.
Only 25 minutes from Bathurst, this picturesque location is easily accessible by a sealed road, making it suitable for two-wheel-drive vehicles.
The site has drop toilets, a free barbeque (bring own wood) and is a pet-friendly – on leash. Potable water is not available. Bring own drinking water with you when planning a trip.
The ground is fairly flat and suitable for caravans and tents alike; however, at this free camping site there are no powered sites.
