Heartwood Nature Bathing

Heartwood offers nature connection experiences including Forest Therapy and Basket Weaving.

Forest Therapy is a mindful way to support your health and wellbeing, connect with nature, and wash away the stresses of the modern world — no water necessary!

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, it involves slowing down, and immersing yourself in nature in a conscious and contemplative way. This happens by opening your senses, and tuning into what you can see, hear, feel, taste and smell.

Heartwood’s simple and powerful experiences are led by certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide Monique Ross, in Brisbane/Meanjin.

Monique is also a fibre artist, and offers regular weaving and basketry workshops.

Let’s wander, together, to a place of calm, clarity and connection.
