Escape to an Island Paradise! Let ‘Beachcomber Charters’ take you on the only Boat Tour from central Surfers Paradise to a remote part of South Stradbroke Island, the Gold Coast’s best kept secret – a place known as ‘Tipplers’.
This exclusive small group tour is limited to 12 guests per day due to the pristine environment of South Stradbroke Island.
Guests enjoy a one-hour (25-kilometer) boat trip past the sights of Surfers Paradise, north into the waterways and wilderness of Southern Moreton Bay Marine Park.
Once arriving at ‘Tipplers’ guests have two hours to enjoy this piece of Paradise.
Guests can choose to join our guide on the ‘Tipplers Walking Trail’. This is a 45-minute guided walk that leads visitors across the island through an Australian native forest to the remote eastern beach – this is the perfect for a photography or viewing the passing Humpback Whales during their June – October migration!
On the return to Tipplers guests can order from the Tipplers Café.
Tipplers Café serves a delicious selection of food and drinks, and it is here that our guests can order lunch or indulge in an Island cocktail if they choose before the return boat cruise.

Sightseeing Cruise with lunch to Tipplers on South Stradbroke Island
The only Boat Tour from central Surfers Paradise to Tipplers on South Stradbroke Island!
Start your adventure as you hop aboard our boat ‘Beachcomber’ from the beach landing at Lionel Perry Park, Surfers Paradise. Enjoy a welcome drink of Prosecco, Light Beer or Soft drink as we cruise north along the Nerang River past high rises, glamorous homes, as well as the mega yachts of Southport Yacht Club and Marina Mirage.
On our cruise through to South Stradbroke Island, we will be on the lookout for a variety of Australian wildlife including marine-life such as dolphins, turtles, and dugongs. Stunning birdlife also call this area home; species such as Pelicans, White-bellied Sea Eagles, black swans and more – we will be sure to point these out to you as we see them!
As we pass Wavebreak Island we will speed up to get our guests to our destination of Tipplers on South Stradbroke Island as quickly as possible!
Tipplers Walking Trail
South Stradbroke Island is the most southern sand island in Moreton Bay and is a 22km long protected Conservation Park managed by The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.
Once arriving at Tipplers guests have two hours to enjoy this piece of Paradise.
Visitors to South Stradbroke Island may be fortunate to spot the striking golden swamp wallaby or even species such as echidnas and goannas which are some of the wildlife that call this Island home.
Guests can choose to relax or to join our guide on the ‘Tipplers Walking Trail’. This is a 45-minute guided walk – suitable for most fitness levels – that leads visitors across the island through a beautiful dense forest of Australian native vegetation species to the remote eastern beach. Here the only other visitor may be a wallaby or two!
This isolated eastern beach of South Stradbroke Island is the perfect spot to take a photo to the south of Surfers Paradise in the far distance. It is also the perfect vantage point to view the passing Humpback Whales during their June – October annual migration!
Tipplers Cafe
On the return to Tipplers guests can order breakfast, lunch or a drink from the Tipplers Café.
Tipplers Café serves a delicious selection of food and drinks, and it is here that our guests can order lunch or indulge in an Island cocktail if they choose!
There’s an hour of relaxation time at Tipplers Cafe before the return boat cruise.

At Wavebreak Island ‘Beachcomber’ they will anchor so that guests can also have fun floating on the Aqua Lily Mat which they will tie up alongside! Your choice to have a swim, or even a quick spot of fishing while you’re there.
A fantastic way to spend some time on Gold Coast’s beautiful Broadwater! Blue-tooth music system on board, so you can play DJ. Marine toilet on board. Large ice-filled esky for your BYO storage! Complimentary glass of Prosecco for our adult guests, plus soft drinks also complimentary for the cruise.
