Join established glass artist Kirstie Rea for an immersive workshop exploring the creative and technical possibilities of fusing thick glass. Over the course of three consecutive Monday evenings, participants will design and construct solid glass slabs (approx 100 x 150 mm and 40 mm thick) using Bullseye glass, powders and stringers.
Through guided experimentation, you’ll explore how depth, colour and transparency interact when glass is layered and fused in thick form. Kirstie will share insights from her decades of kilnforming practice, encouraging both technical curiosity and personal expression.
