George Town Art and Artisans guild Inc is a non-profit organisation and runs a store on the main street of George Town, Tasmania. This store is unique, as it sells only works created by artists and artisans from the municipality. The store has been operating since June 2023.

The products range from paper craft, to fine art and “everything” in between. The store stocks oil and water colour paintings, handmade quilts, handwoven shawls, leather work, wood work, books by local authors, needlecraft, photography, cards, pottery and glassware to mention a few. The items make ideal gifts or souvenirs, as many reflect the local places.

The store, which is the only art and artisan store in George Town, is run entirely by volunteers, who are members of the guild.

The store is easily accessible from the street, and there is parking available within easy reach.
