Steamrail Victoria invites you to join their historical steam train rides at Sale featuring two of their heritage steam locomotives.

Tickets are available for one way journeys between Melbourne and Gippsland and vice versa on their heritage train. Return home via a connecting V/Line service or make a weekend of it and explore Gippsland onboard The Vintage Train.

All one way trips are timed to meet with regular V/Line services so you can return at your leisure.

The train features beautiful timber work and pressed-tin ceilings, walk-through corridors, comfortable compartment style seating and the classic opening windows so you can hear the engine working hard up the hills and whistling to the lineside onlookers. Their on-train facilities include a kiosk which stocks a wide range of light refreshments, snacks and hot and cold drinks. A licensed bar will be operating, serving a range of beers, wines and spirits. A range of souvenirs will also be able for purchase from their on board shop.
