Coombabah Lakeland Conservation Park
As part of our Kangaroos & Mountain Views tour, we begin the day at Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Park, a hidden gem on the edge of the Gold Coast Hinterland. This tranquil nature reserve is a haven for native wildlife and offers a genuine glimpse into Australia’s diverse ecosystems.
Stroll along easy walking trails through wetlands, eucalypt forests, and mangroves, where you will get to see kangaroos in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for koalas nestled high in the treetops.
The Gold Coast Spit
Next, we visit The Spit, one of the Gold Coast’s most scenic and peaceful coastal locations. Just north of Surfers Paradise, this picturesque headland offers sweeping views of the ocean and Broadwater, making it the perfect spot to pause and take in the region’s natural beauty.
Enjoy a walk along the long sand pumping jetty, where you might spot dolphins playing in the waves or even whales during the migration season. With its mix of calm waterways, open beaches, and fresh sea air, The Spit provides a relaxing escape from the city and a stunning backdrop for photos and sightseeing.
Surfers Paradise
