Explore the history of Goompi/Dunwich though a guided walk. The walk incorporates sites listed on the Queensland Heritage Register and explores British Invasion, the convict period, early colonial institutions (Quarantine Station, Dunwich Benevolent Asylum and Lazaret) through to the contemporary period of sandmining and tourism.

Meet at the North Stradbroke Island Museum on Minjerribah. The walk takes approximately 50 minutes return, followed by a presentation and visit at the Museum.
