Situated in the middle of Cressy, on an acre and a half of land. You are guaranteed a secure place to stay and enjoy a few days, whether it’s just resting before moving on or heading down to the local rivers for a fish. Cressy is Tasmania’s only ‘troutified’ township as the local area is a mecca for fly fishing. the site is Dog-friendly.
Visitors need to be fully self-contained with their own amenities. Guests must also be over 18 years old. Tents are not permitted.
Gossy’s Retreat’s backyard is hidden from the street and offers amazing views of the mountains. Located 34 km southwest of Launceston, Cressy is a small, attractive, and historically significant town that came into existence in the 1850s to service the surrounding wheat farms.
