Hamelin Bay is a stretch of breathtaking bay on the southwest coast of Western Australia.
The Park welcomes hundreds of travellers each year to experience the beauty of the bay. Popular for fishing, sighting awesome stingrays, bush walks, and getting in touch with nature.
Hamelin Bay is located in the small town of Karridale, close to both Augusta and Margaret River tourist attractions. Guests are spoilt for choice with 95 powered and 25 unpowered shady sites and 22 onsite cabin/cottage accommodations to choose from.
A well-equipped camp kitchen and undercover area which includes electric barbecues, gas hot plates, and washing up sinks plus a children’s playground makes for a wonderful stay.
The Park has three amenity blocks with lovely hot showers and laundries with washing machines and dryers. A new ablution block with disabled facilities is available for park patrons.
During the summer months, the kiosk is open for your convenience.
Hamelin Bay Holiday Park is the perfect base for exploring the delights of this incredible south-west region. Visit the majestic Boranup Forest, the many local caves, including Jewel Caves with its great café, and an array of wineries. All within a short drive from Hamelin Bay.

Ocean View Cottage
Ocean View Cottages offer inviting accommodations featuring two bedrooms, a living/dining area, and an en-suite bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the second bedroom contains two single beds and a trundle bed. Additionally, a fold-away bed is stored in the wardrobe of the second bedroom.
The kitchens are well-equipped, including a gas cooktop, electric oven, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and all essential cooking utensils. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, such as a television, DVD/Blu-ray player, Bluetooth speaker, and reverse cycle air conditioning. There’s also a Weber barbecue available for guests to use on the verandah.
Beach Cottage
Beach Cottages have two bedrooms, a living area and an en suite. There is a queen bed in one room and one set of bunks in the other, with a trundle bed. The cottages sleep a maximum of five people. They have a gas cooktop, refrigerator, microwave and all cooking utensils provided. Other facilities include a television, DVD player, and reverse-cycle air-conditioning.
Park Cabin with En Suite
Park Cabins with en suite have one room and an en suite. There is a queen bed and a set of bunks with a privacy curtain. The cabins sleep a maximum of four people. They have a gas cooktop, bar-size refrigerator, microwave, and all cooking utensils provided. Other facilities include a television, DVD player and reverse-cycle air-conditioning.
Standard Park Cabin
Standard park cabins feature one room equipped with a double bed at one end and two sets of caravan-sized bunks at the other end. Each cabin includes a small kitchenette, which is equipped with a microwave, electric frypan, bar refrigerator, television, and DVD player.
Please note that standard park cabins do not have an en suite bathroom; guests must use the shared onsite amenities. Linen and bedding are provided for the double bed, but the single beds do not come with bedding or linen included. Guests can request to hire the necessary bedding and linen for an additional fee.
