Hamlet Downs Country Hideaway is a rustic hidden gem located in the foothills of the Central Highlands in Fentonbury, Tasmania – a country home away from home!
Comfortably sleeping up to six pax with three bedrooms consisting of a King Bed, Queen Bed and Twin Singles.
An original Hyrdo House from Waddamana, the site of the first power station, relocated to Fentonbury, this country style rustic; but well provided kitchen has all the amenities you need to self-cater – A home away from home in an idyllic, secluded, fully private, country location.
A full-size fridge, bathtub and even a washing machine makes this a convenient place for an extended stay with the family and friends.
Set on 17 acres and with access through to the 36 acre adjoining property of Hamlet Downs Country Accom which also features 3 accommodation spaces, you can roam and feel free to potter around the farm.
Spy Platypus in one of the many dams, say g’day to the farm friends of sheep, alpacas, ducks, chooks, resident grey old farm dog Sunny, and even our big piggies up the hill.
Just a 12-minute drive to Russell Falls and Mt Field National Park. 20-minutes drive to internationally renowned Red Bull Maydena Bike Park, 30-minutes to historic New Norfolk and only 1 hour to Hobart.
