Visitors can climb aboard and see the cockpits of iconic aircraft, including the Lockheed Super Constellation, Catalina, and Neptune submarine hunter and many more. Knowledgeable guides lead aircraft tours throughout the day, offering fascinating insights into each display.
Take the time to explore the Museum’s other standout collections, including the exceptional restoration work of HARS aviation volunteers and their replica of Kingsford Smith’s Southern Cross. Be sure to see the Boeing 747-438 ‘City of Canberra’, the Qantas passenger jet that set the world record for the longest non-stop commercial flight from London to Sydney in August 1989.
