Herron Point Campground is a nature-based campsite positioned along the sandy white shoreline of the Peel-Harvey Estuary. Just a 20-minute drive from Pinjarra, this hidden escape lets you spend your days on the banks of south-Western Australia’s largest and most diverse estuarine complex.

It’s an ideal spot for travellers who appreciate a bit of rustic charm in exchange for breathtaking sunsets, serene surroundings, quiet and picturesque surroundings, surrounded by native flora and fauna. Whether you’re parking your caravan or pitching a tent, Herron Point is perfect for a peaceful getaway with family, friends, and even your dog.

A boat ramp facility for small vessels is available, so you can spend your days fishing, crabbing (in season), kayaking or simply strolling along the shoreline, before unwinding beneath a starry sky. The quietude of the Australian bush, combined with the gentle lapping of the estuary, creates a soothing backdrop for your stay.

While there’s a good connection to digital services, Herron Point is the ideal place for you to switch off, disconnect, and truly relax. Please note that advanced online bookings are required for all sites.

The campground is not connected to mains water or electricity, so all sites are unpowered, and campers should come prepared to be self-sufficient. However, flushing toilets are available on site, adding a touch of comfort to this off-the-grid experience.
