This exploration trip will take you back in history to the days of the gold rush era. The history of the region is mingled with the native bush, with relics of the past to be observed along the way. A variety of short walks on well-formed paths are part of the tour, though participants may choose to spend time relaxing on the riverbank.
The day will ensure participants see one/several huts of the High Country; a tunnel dug to assist in the search for gold; native Australian bush landscapes (flora and fauna); a river of the High Country and relics of the gold rush era.
Enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your own or catering for additional costs).
