A full-day wine tour can be arranged which will pick you up from your cabin, or dinner reservations in local restaurants.
Situated 10 minutes from Maitland this rural retreat has boutique wineries close by and the Pokolbin wineries are 25 minutes away.

Goanna Lodge
Goanna Lodge is the main residence and sleeps up to 8 people. It is an open plan cottage with 3 bedrooms and has an huge front deck with gas barbecue and outdoor setting for parties and entertaining whilst taking in the amazing views over the Hunter Valley.
Olive Cottage
The Olive Cottage is a private Studio style cottage with a queen-size bed and a large triangular spa bath in the lounge bedroom area. It has an ensuite, wood fire, air-conditioning, self-contained kitchen, veranda, barbecue and superb views of the valley and Hunter River.
Rockhouse Cottage
The Rockhouse is built from bush rock and has a loft upstairs with two bedrooms either end. Bedrooms have a queen bed in one bedroom and a queen and two singles in the second bedroom. It has a Jacuzzi spa which is in a room on the veranda with large glass windows. It has an outdoor setting, barbecue, wood fire, air-conditioning, linen provided and views of the valley and Hunter River.
Cedar Cottage
The Cedar Cottage is a private fully self-contained cottage with Jacuzzi spa. It has two bedrooms, a queen bed in one bedroom and two singles and a double-decker bunk in the second bedroom. It has magnificent views of the valley and Hunter River. It has an outdoor setting on the veranda, wood fire, and barbecue, linen provided, air-conditioning and parking underneath.
Bluegum Cottage
The Bluegum Cottage is a private fully self-contained cottage with Jacuzzi spa. It has two bedrooms, a queen in one bedroom and a queen and a double-decker bunk in the second bedroom. Splendid views of the valley and Hunter River. It has a outdoor setting on the veranda, wood fire, air-conditioning, barbecue, linen provided and parking underneath.

Our cottages include the main residence Goanna Lodge which has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people, Rockhouse, Bluegum & Cedar Cottages which each have 2 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 people and Olive Cottage is a studio style and sleeps 2 people.
All the cottages except Goanna Lodge have private jacuzzis , whilst Olive has an internal spa bath.
We have a communal swimming pool, fishing in the Hunter River and bush walking on the 110 acres.

Full Day Bus Winery Tours can also be organized that pick up from The Retreat – you can taste and not worry about driving .
