Visit Lavender Farm Willie Smith apple shed to learn about the Lavender, cider & apple brandy production, plus a restaurant & gift shop. We will take expressions of interest.

1. Date and Time: Any date from December 2021 to January 2022, except public holidays, 24, 25, 26 & 31 December. We’ll meet at 9:30 am and back to Hobart before 2:40 pm

2. Bus Pick Up & Drop Off: Travel with a Cause Office (1st Floor, 41-43 Victoria St, Hobart CBD, TAS 7000)

​3. Inclusions: Lavender Farm & Willie Smith apple shed visit, group transportation, morning tea, drinks & BBQ lunch will also be included in the tour. Meet new friends, support Not-For-Profit Organisation, 100% of its profit goes to charity projects.

4. Itinerary (The actual time of places visiting might differ from the schedule): 9:30 AM – Meet at TWAC office. 9:50 AM – Bus departs. 10:30 AM – Arrive Lavender Farm. 10:30 AM- 12:30 PM- Explore the beauty of Lavender, gain much knowledge about Lavender from professional farmers as well as taking photos there. 12:30 PM – Bus departs to WIllie Smith apple shed. 2:00 PM – Bus departs back to TWAC. Back to Hobart before 2:40 pm

Travel with a Cause

Travel with a Cause (TWAC)’s #twacvolunteer program is organised on a regular basis and is designed to provide opportunities for participants in volunteering activities that promote greater understanding and appreciation of the environment whilst maintaining nature and the protection of wildlife.

It is also designed for participants to gain experience while providing an opportunity to give back to the community and also develop networks and meeting new people from diverse backgrounds which will increase their cultural perspectives while exploring the natural beauty of Tasmania.
